Remembering President Hinckley

"Each of us can do a little better than we have been doing. We can be a little more kind. We can be a little more merciful. We can be a little more forgiving. We can put behind us our weaknesses of the past and go forth with new energy and increased resolution to improve the world about us, in our homes, in our places of employment, in our social activities."
President Gordon B. Hinckley

A LATE BLOOMER

This amaryllis flower bulb I received on Thanksgiving Day from my dearest friend, Sandy Wilmot. I planted the bulb and hoped it would grow and bloom
in time for Christmas. It grew but did not bloom until after Christmas. I guess it was a "late bloomer" because it knew I would not be home for Christmas. Two weeks later she was in full bloom in her beautiful array. I love it and will transplant it into my front flower bed. I hope it will grow and greet visitors with the same beautiful blossoms.

TWO YEAR OLD BIRTHDAY CELEBRATON

This little girl (Jennifer Jambor)is celebrating her birthday. She receives a
present wrapped in a big brown bag. (Fancy pretty gift bags were not
available in those days 1976). When she peeked into the bag to see what she got she said: AH ...IT's A MONSTER!

Posted by Picasa
She obviously, loves the MONSTER (Teddy) because he gets to ride behind
her on her new Big Wheel. Notice that she feels the need to protect her
head when riding. I am not sure if her helmet is a pot or bowl or maybe a
strainer.

What is Wrong With Me?

How could I forget my youngest great- grand baby. Well, I didn't forget him, I just did not get him in "our" ( I say "our" because Sheila has been helping me again) last post featuring Sandy's kids. This is Curt, Jen and baby Kempton. He is cute; REAL CUTE! (not a surprise, if you take a good look at his parents)

We call her, "Our Criswell Baby"

Here we are with Sandy, sometimes known as our Criswell Baby, because she is the only blond haired blue eyed daughter we've got. Sandy has 3 wonderful children.
This is her oldest, Brandi with her husband, Matt and their 2 children, Lexi and Anna.
They kep busy with church, work, school and most importantly, their active family.

Curt, her next child in line (on the right) with his wife Jen and cousins, Krista & her hubby Ryan.

Mr. Beals. He is family and also our handy, helper neighbor.

David, Sandy's good looking boy with the red hair.
David and cousin Victoria performing for us at our 50th anniversary party.
They were very entertaining.

VALLERIE & HER GANG

Our second daughter Vallerie has 5 daughters. They all live pretty close by and I love them. Their families are growing quickly.
The picture above is our oldest granddaughter, Jennifer & her husband Dan.
She calls often, checking up on us. That is so nice. She has the cutest dimple & prettiest smile you've ever seen. She is good to keep up family history, she actually majored in this area in college. She graduated from BYU and Dan is a graduate of ASU.
If we are in a bind with a major computer issue, both her and Dan have been good to help us old people out of whatever computer trouble we may have gotten ourselves into. They keep busy with church activities, Dans work and raising their family, among other things.

This is E.V. with Jennifers youngest, Taylor. EV is working and going to school in Northern Arizona. She is plugging away and working very hard. She is a beautiful blonde in this picture. Sometimes her hair is a strawberry blond, also very pretty.

Here is the Queen Bee Mother, Vallerie with Jennifer's' Morgan. Vallerie works as a nurse in the Pediatric ward at the hospital. Her kids and grandkids keep her on her toes.
This is Cole, our oldest great-grandchild. He is a cutie and full of energy. He belongs to Robyn.
That is Jackson with him, Jennifer's oldest, also very cute and full of energy. He loves his super hero's.

Here is our gorgeous, athlete grandchild Victoria. She is in high school. She plays volleyball and is very smart, maybe even brilliant!

This is Robyn with her dog, Bella. Robyn is a sweetie. She has beautiful red hair, is working, raising C0le and Going to school. Her plate is full right now, that's for sure. Everybody loves Robyn!

Alisha with her husband Adam. Alisha is a wonderful mom of 3 children. She loves being a Mom and does it well. She keeps busy working and taking care of her family. She also is quite creative and artsy.

Here are their children. They are a rambunctious crew, just the way we like. They have beautiful dark eyes, and olive skin, just like their Mom. Her boys are getting into sports and are proving to be quite the athletes. Sam, is a beauty, very loving and all girl.
Oh, How I love my family. I cannot express enough, the happiness that they give me.

Making Me Happy

My family makes me the most happy.
I love them all so much.
The following pictures were taken while in Utah last month.
I know it can be annoying how Gramps always has to take a picture of us all, even when we are looking, shall I say, Um, Ugly. But, we don't care. All we see is our kids & grandkids, they look good and We Love Them. Why does he have to do that? Here we are with our youngest daughter, Sheila.
One of my favorite dogs.
This is not the greatest picture of me, but can you see how tall Ted is? Notice I am on my tippy toes!
Me and Gramps listening to granddaughter, Amber sing with her friend Trevor.
I have many more pictures to post.
Watch for Grandkids from my other daughters, as the week goes on.
Oh, and if you happen to be looking at this page, by all means post a comment, that also makes me happy!

Dion Falcone Denton

Several of you were finally able to identify one of the babies. Krista, Vallerie, and Jennifer Oliver got his name right. Here is a couple of of pictures when he was older and recognizable. See how handsome he is and he has no red hair.

No one has guess the name of the other baby. I am going to give you a big
hint. He is a Denton.

New Babies To Identify

Because I had so much fun with the two previous baby pictures , I hope you will try again and name the new babies. I am actually posting these scanned pictures myself. Hooray for me and thanks for a blog lesson from my ghost writer. These babies are going to be harder to identify. Good Luck. Poppa you do not get to play.

Happy Birthday, Jen

The babies were both my granddaughter, Jen.
