Bicycle

Now when I see a picture with a bicycle in it I think of Sheila.
This picture is for you, Sheila. Of course, the bicycle is my style.

A picture for Sandy

When Dad and I were returning home from our trip we stopped at a Cracker Barrel Restaurant . There was antiques and old pictures on the walls. I love to check out all of that old stuff. I noticed right next to me hung a old fashion picture and when I looked at it closely, I realized it was a woman picking up a shell and looking at it. It intrigued me and I thought SandySeaShells might like to see it. So we took a picture to share.

Breakfast with Grandchildren

Menu: Happy Face Pancakes, Sausage, dried fruit face pieces and milk.
Baby T. likes her's torn into small pieces. She only has two teeth to work with.
Grandma calls this a swimming pool??? I have got to invite her to come and swim in our apartment pool.
I would call this a dipping pool.
This is what I get to do while they play in the water. I sure will be glad when I can run with my big brother and sister.

Funny Friday

A blonde teenager, wanting to earn some extra money for the summer, decided to hire herself out as a "handy woman" and started canvassing a nearby well-to-do neighborhood. She went to the front door of the first house, and asked the owner if he had any odd job for her to do.

"Well, I guess I could use somebody to paint my porch," he said, "How much will you charge me?"

Delighted, the girl quickly responded, "How about $50?"

The man agreed and told her that the paint brushes and everything she would need was in the garage. The man's wife, hearing the conversation said to her husband, "Does she realize that our porch goes all the way around the house?"

He responded, "That's a bit cynical, isn't it?"

The wife replied, "You're right. I guess I'm starting to believe all those dumb blonde jokes we've been getting by e-mail lately."

Later that day, the blonde came to the door to collect her money. "You're
finished already?" the startled husband said.

"Yes, the blonde replied, and I even had paint left over, so I gave it two coats.

Impressed, the man reached into his pocket for the $50.00 and handed it to her along with a ten dollar tip.

"And by the way", the blonde added, "it's not a Porch, it's a Lexus"

Blooming Tree and Plants

This time of the year the Palo Verde Trees bloom with small yellow blossoms. I look forward to seeing them every year.
In the above picture you see me sitting among the Prim Roses in the back yard.
I was trimming shrubs today in the front yard and noticed Christmas amarylliss
that I had transferred from pots to the flower bed are blooming. Luckily the rabbits did not
nibble on them.
