We returned home from Bruce's funeral.
The services were emotional, but beautiful.
I am going to miss Bruce.
I look forward to seeing him again someday.
How I love him and Joanie and their children.

The following are the words to the song "I Believe" which meant so much to Bruce.

I Believe

I believe for every drop of rain that falls
a flower grows
I believe that somewhere in the darkest night
a candle glows
I believe for everyone who goes astray
someone will come to show the way
I believe, I believe

I believe above the storm
the smallest prayer will still be heard
I believe that someone in the great somewhere
hears every word
Every time I hear a newborn baby cry
or touch a leaf or see the sky
Then I know why I believe

Every time I hear a newborn baby cry or touch a leaf or see the sky
Then I know why I believe

We all met together as a family at The Olive Garden
Dad and I shared our hotel room with Sandy and Sheila
just like old times
We spent some time together, Friday evening, at Patty's home
Tears were shed, love expressed and memories brought joy

I am so happy you were alltogether at this time. I wish I could have been there too! We really need each other at such times as this.

Jesus' words recorded at John 11:23-25 were very comforting to Martha, when her brother died, as they can be to us also.

Jesus said to her: "I am the ressurection and life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life..."

What a comfort to have faith in Jesus's teachings.

I love seeing pics of the family in good times and even those bittersweet times too.
